WHY BECOME A MENTOR TO A SOLDIER OR VETERAN
They need your help. There are thousands of young veterans and reserve soldiers wishing to transition from the military to civilian careers. Due to cultural and economic conditions, this transition can be difficult and fraught with challenges unique to ex-military personnel. By pairing the soldiers with you, an existing industry leader, we hope to give them a relevant and valuable adviser who can help kick-start their career.
WHAT IS MY TIME COMMITMENT?
A couple emails and phone calls a month. Your mentee will call you and have questions prepared for you. If it's geographically feasible, a face to face over coffee is also suggested. All they're looking for is some sage advice on how they might be able to enter the career line you're in.
